PROJECT TIMELINE

The first transnational meeting of the CEDAC project was held online on the 25th & 26th of May 2021. During the two-day meeting, the consortium shared their excitement about this new promising project. They presented their organizations, shared their views and expectations on the results of the project and clarified important doubts that they had in order to continue further. Finally, the next steps and deadlines were decided and they promised to work hard on this project from the beginning.

This training programme will encourage seniors with low or no digital skills to get involved with the project and get familiar with the digital world. In addition, the material will focus also on culture and arts as it will show to seniors numerous attractive tools which will motivate them to improve their skills and search on their own events or online resources and applications related to culture. In other words, the training programme will be a sort of a “cure for loneliness” for senior people who during the COVID-19 pandemic could not go out and meet other people.

The second transnational meeting of the CEDAC project was held face-to-face on the 8th and 9th of November 2021. During the two-day meeting, partners shared their excitement about being physically together and they had fruitful discussions related to the upcoming tasks. They have decided on the topics of the workshops for seniors that will be developed and the modules in regards to the training of adult educators.

The e-learning course will be targeted to trainers and educators, will be focused on the methodological aspects of teaching seniors online and it will inspire trainers to create new, innovative training modules, based on their knowledge and interests.

Between the 11th – 15th of July 2022, the C1 Short-Term joint staff training event for the KA2 Erasmus+ CEDAC -Creative educators of digital arts & culture project was conducted in Fundão, Portugal. During the C1 Short-Term joint staff training event, the trainers trained each other on the materials developed for creativity and digital skills presented, as well as the platform for educators and the web portal for seniors, and the upcoming tasks and events of the project!

The last intellectual output is about the creation of the platform of the project. This web portal will be a common online space for all participants, seniors, and trainers.

The third transnational meeting of the CEDAC project was held face-to-face on the 3rd and 4th of November 2022. uring the two-day meeting, partners reunited and had a productive meeting regarding the upcoming tasks. They focused on the pilot testing of the workshops for seniors and navigated through both platforms, the one for seniors and the one for adult educators.

The forth transnational meeting of the CEDAC project was held face-to-face on the 3rd and 4th of April 2023 in Ostrava, Czech Republic. During the two-day meeting, partners discussed and finalised all the intellectual outputs and to organise the two online webinars which held online in April.

On the 11th and 18th of April 2023, partners organized two webinars in order to inform the project’s main target groups about the CEDAC project and the value as well as benefits of creativity in seniors lives.
