What is the Seniortube?
Seniortube is a space for seniors or senior groups who want to share what they do in the field of arts & culture (including for example local handicraft techniques, traditional music, regional cuisine etc. but also experiments with “mixing” different cultures and creating intercultural works/pieces of art) and possibly entering in a relationship/co-operation with other senior groups from their or another country; the shared materials can also be used in training by trainers who would like to show interesting examples/results and / or motivate seniors to publish something else.
It is hoped that the videos shared through this platform will motivate other educators and participants to share their culture and arts too.
How can you join the Seniortube community?
- #1 Watch the videos below (just click on them) and feel inspired to share your artwork too!
(If you/we considered putting this kind of representative image, we should replace it for the print screen that will be the final screen – since we decided to change the order – videos/ Form)It is hoped that the videos shared through this platform will motivate other educators and participants to share their culture and arts too.
- #2 Create a video lasting up to 3 minutes
We suggest you pay attention to the following tips when creating the video:
- Make your footage horizontal, if using a cell phone for that purpose
- Include brief descriptions or captions that allow you to contextualize what we are going to see (the country/city represented and the art/cultural piece)
- #3 Fill out the brief form to submit your video:
- Put your full name
- Enter a valid e-mail address
- Put in the “Subject” field a short and clear description (for example: “Dance video in Slovenia”)
- Upload your file (video format like mp4, avi, mov, wmv, mpg)
And that`s it!
Just wait (up to 10 days) for the platform administrators to upload your video and it will be available for everyone to see and learn more about your culture and artistic manifestations.
